Leverage Federal Funding for Coaching in your Program

There is an exciting new opportunity for OST providers in Massachusetts. Under the recently passed COVID-19 relief program, Congress has allocated $70 million to Massachusetts for summer learning. These funds can be used to get one on one coaching with MAP’s Program Support Specialist.

New Research

In 2018, the Mass Afterschool Partnership released a new report on afterschool and summer learning. It outlined the need for more programs and presented recommendations to the legislature to build a robust and equitable system. The report was based on research by the Mass Budget and Policy Center. Annual Report

Making a Difference.

MAP is the only statewide organization dedicated to ensuring all children and youth have access to high quality afterschool programming. In FY2017, MAP was able to develop and strengthen our relationship building and development with essential foundations that allow us to do our work. Advocacy, professional development and technical assistance, communications, policy change, and systems change. The last fiscal year saw an increase in organizational capacity and a budget that allowed us to do more across all initia-tives.
