Patrick Stanton (he/him)
Executive Director

Before joining MAP in October of 2013, Patrick received his BA in Political Science from Keene State College and his MA in Political Science from Northeastern University. During his time with MAP, Patrick has worked primarily on initiatives around the Afterschool and Out-of-School Time Coordinating Council and statewide afterschool public policy.

Ardith Wieworka (She/her)
CEO

Ardith Wieworka was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Massachusetts Afterschool Partnership in 2014. Ms. Wieworka has a distinguished career in Massachusetts supporting and promoting programs benefiting children, youth, their families and communities. As CEO, Ms. Wieworka oversees a range of public policy and advocacy initiatives promoting the work of afterschool programs and expanded learning opportunities for children.

Catherine DElvento (she/her)
Director of Public Policy and Government RElations

Cathy has led MAP’s legislative and policy development since the organization was created in 2005. As the Legislative Director, Cathy helps MAP navigate the complex world of national, state, and local policy. Along with her duties at MAP, Cathy currently runs the Winthrop Public Schools’ Grants Program including the 21st CCLC program and has played a central part in the ESSA reauthorization.

Lisa Demoulias (she/her)
Director of Professional Development

Lisa DeCaro Demoulias began her career as a kindergarten teacher and has held many positions in the field of education.  She holds a Professional Massachusetts Teacher License as well as a certification as a Principal N-8.  She graduated from Boston College with a Master Degree in Educational Administration and currently works for Lesley University leading aspiring teachers to an initial licensure.  Lisa was the Chief Operating Officer of an International Educational Consultancy group and was the Senior Child Care Director of the YMCA of the Greater Boston Association.  She managed all aspects of the school-age programs and was the leader of the Eastern Mass Cluster group of the YMCA developing best practices for the school-age sites.  Lisa is a passionate educator and enjoys sharing her knowledge and learning from others.

Jennifer Reth (she/her)
Program Support specialist

Jen has been in the Afterschool and Out-Of-School Time field since 1993 working in various positions. She is currently the Director of Youthworks, the Soft Skills Career Readiness Program for youth in Winthrop with Winthrop Public Schools and CASA. She serves on the Community Action for Safe Alternatives board and is a Massachusetts Ambassador for the National Afterschool Alliance.

chloe anne mcelligott (she/her)
director of outreach and engagement

Chloe McElligott graduated from the Boston University School of Social Work with her Master’s of Social Work in Macro Practice, where she specialized in Children, Youth, and Families. Her prior work experience includes racial justice and equity work with the Southern Jamaica Plain Health Center’s Health Promotion Center, education and public safety policy research with Boston City Councilor Andrea J. Campbell’s policy team, and as a paralegal at an immigration law firm focusing on family petitions and asylum seekers.

Katie Mai (she/they)
Community Engagement Associate

Katie Mai (she/they) is currently a 2nd-year MSW candidate (expected 2023) at Boston University's School of Social Work. Prior to that, she graduated from University of Massachusetts, Boston with a Psychology degree and a program-of-study in Asian American Studies. Katie is passionate about youth work, ethnic studies, and critical issues facing the Asian American and Pacific Islander community.
